Guilds Forum / SCoY , the Sworn Council of Yliakum

We have existed for a while, but many are not aware that we exist.  Briefly stated:

We are a council of guilds sworn to support harmony and cooperation among guilds and all citizens of  Yliakum.
We offer our services to mediate differences between guilds.
We choose to enhance the roleplaying element by creating a community of guilds.

What we are not:

We are not the government of Yliakum.
We are not an authority over all guilds.
We are not an authority over non-guilded players.

Even if there is a good chance that there will be a rollback to 14b because 015 has too many problems, the links to 14b should have been removed as soon as the decision to shut down the server for an update was made - it doesn't take that long to remove text (and links) from a webpage.  I have seen posts in several places  of people who downloaded 14b expecting to jump right into gameplay.  You know how it is when someone is looking for a new game - damn the torpedoes and the details, give me the dowmload now! - and they find it in the upper-right corner - then get angry when they discovered they wasted time and bandwidth.
So the webmaster/site-editor has to make two edits instead of one - it's nothing compared with what the DEV's are going through - if the admin for that page falls on a dev, that should be changed too.

The forums are full of posts concerned with conserving bandwidth for the download of version015 -  I dare say a couple of gigs have been wasted already by people downloading 014b and hoping to use updater to get 015 - telling them not to even on that page won't prevent it from happening, in fact the discussions about **torrent all but encourage using it to test their torrent client -- wouldn't it be wise if someone at least made the links DEAD on that page ??

 :surrender: This isn't a spoiler, because I only know what I have read in these forums, and a conversation with one of the NPC's - note there are a number of NPC's who speakof other places, this one happens to mention a lake:

Who are you?
I'm called Taulim Wilaal, friend. I recently moved to Hydlaa from my small village near the Emerald Lake called Homestead. Lots of farmers out that way; very rural.

Homestead is a small farming village just north of Hydlaa's western sections. A road leads from it to the mines in the north, against the wall. It passes by the Emerald Lake.

The lake is called Emerald due to the color of its waters. There's supposed to be some island or whatever in the middle, but I've not been near enough to tell. It's just south of the mines, and a bit west.
...but it's something to think about - i doubt that the town name of 'Homestead' will stick, though - it just doesn't sound very 'Yliakumish'   ::|
