After doing the Bittorrent download it worked, and I was able to log in and be a complete and total newb. ^_^

It seems that you haven't the good version of the application. You must use the very latest : 0.3.015 here.

sir, i took the "Mirror 4: PlaneshiftCB_v0.3.15.dmg"

isn't that the one?  ::)

Mirror 4 from filecloud is also what I downloaded.

Can you list the steps that you do and where you got the file from? Maybe it's my bug too!

OK, I just pulled the latest build from Filecloud. I copy PS over to Desktop and hit the psclient.app program, and this pops up.

Help?

edit: I fixed this, but now another file is wigging out on me. :woot: See below for details. Psst, do I smell a Filecloud build that isn't up to date?

So you stand near enough to them and/or target them, and they respond?

I guess question #1 is, How do I talk to NPCs? I studied the FAQs and everything I could get my hands on, but I didn't see any mention of the interface.
Question #2 is how long do the mac versions lag behind the PC versions in release? I don't think there's anypoint in madly refreshing a page if it won't update for another few days. ;)

Was more thinking something along the lines of gameplay/fight subtleties. ;)

*pokes client* downloaded the silly thing last night and I gotta update again today as soon as the mac version comes out. I'm so traumatized.

Hi!

I play World of Warcraft, but I'm looking to check out some other MMOs.
Planeshift looks pretty cool, specially as I'm on a Mac.

Can anyone give me some pointers for things that would really trip me up? :)
