Cant even open

Hi im new and im having trouble loading the game. I downloaded 3.015 and i installed the latest java. I tried the guide for getting the game to work but i couldnt even use the java updater. Any more clues on how to make this game work?

Can you list the steps that you do and where you got the file from? Maybe it's my bug too!

- I just downloaded it from http://www.filecloud.com/files/file.php?file_id=3041 ( this is the Mirror 4 on planeshift.it downloads)
- then i opened the dmg
- draged the folder to my hardrive
- i DID NOT touched the updater, and i cant open anything, it just gets an unexpected quit.

i downloaded the torrent and when i try to launch it trys for a sec and just stops. last night with the fircloud one it altleat said this app had to close

I'm curious if it's the same Problem that keeps me from playing. Could you start Konsole prior to launch psclient and watch oout for Messages.
Should start with :

Crystal Space for MacOS/X 0.99 r0 [MacOS/X-powerpc-GCC]
...



and post the Messages here, please ( if it's the same Problem, there should be only a few lines until the client crashes.)

I'm having the same problem too! Bit Torrent and PS try to start and drops after a second.

I bet it's my comp...OS 10.2.8 900mHz G3

yes i guess it's your system, or at least your OS Version. Unfortunately, 10.2 could no longer be supported. ( Or at least until someone who has access to an 10.2.8 System may build a client for this Version),

I have the same problem where psclient unexpectedly quits before it even opens and my mac is fairly new with OSX10.4.7

So your old computer is not the problem. Does anyone know how to open the psclient when it quits before it opens??[/b] I have searched the forums for about 2 hours before I decided to make a post!!!!

one thing is after downloading the game U MUST USE THE UPDATER... you have to wait another what 20-60 mins SO WHAT!!! the game might work then trust me i had the prob of the server always failling on me when i ran the updater and tried again it worked perfectly

mr. wandering uhh guy  , Yes I did check that one but it doesn't refer to the problem of the applications quiting. thanks though.

other guy above this post that has an apple, the problem wasnt with the server crashing because the application psclient, the update thing, or the other application in that folder didnt even open before it quit. It will bounce on the dock 4 times and a window will come up saying that it unexpectedly quit and asks if you want to file a report to apple. But will updating it really make me able to open the application?? It sounds fishy to me... Either was I've been running the update.jar thing and it's almost halfway done. So I'll see if you were right.
