Technical Help: Problems BEFORE entering the game / Crash when picking up items

At first the game itself works fine.
But when I try to pick up items (here especially a ruby) the game crashes (exception error) and I get back to windows. After logging in again I see the item in my inventory. Anyone else having this problem? Any solution?
