Crash when picking up items

At first the game itself works fine.

But when I try to pick up items (here especially a ruby) the game crashes (exception error) and I get back to windows. After logging in again I see the item in my inventory. Anyone else having this problem? Any solution?

How did you solve the problem?
I got the same. I now tryed to pick up five rubys - with success and crashing.
