Sometimes, the sentence: "NPC sent me" works !
Where NPC is the name of the NPC who sent you.

I had the same problem with the "Clan reunion" quest.
The only way I found to unstick the quest was to give the next item Trasok wants (a mug of beer).
(sorry if it spoils the quest but it is for the good cause).
PS: I completed the following bugtracker entry to notify the problem but don't know if someone read it (because status is closed): http://www.hydlaa.com/bugtracker/bug.php?op=show&bugid=2465&pos=20
For the Grimal statue, I will try your tip ! Thank you ...
