I think the level in mining could be usefull to deal with that.

Reorganize the level of mining with the different ressources, platinum possible to mine at mining level 50 + monsters, far from a forge like in bdoors. That's an example :)

Price of levels in consequence, more you got level, more expensive it could be to train.

I don't know if it's better or not but now Planeshift is no more a portable game.

I used to have it on a portable hard disk and could play from it at work without leaving files on that computer. I know it's bad  :-[.

Jonerian i was thinking all old programs were following that scheme and that now it was better to put it in the program files to have a safer system. Look at all the sites with portables apps for windows. Ccleaner and other software have released recently special portable version of their software.

And yes i'm a bit scared to modify the registry  :-\

At least i will work better  ;)

I'd prefer to have my logs and screenshots in my program files directory instead of this hidden folder. Does somebody know a way to do that?

Yes why? Maybe you have a good reason that we don't know for development issues.

But i spend so much time training some skills and i and many others will be very disapointed of all that time loosed i think.

Yes ATI makes mobility drivers for the laptop graphic cards... but not for vista :( I needed to install this drivers

Hmm bad news  :(

I hope you will be able to fix that problem soon. Your chronicles are really really nice and gives a lot of interest in game. It gives a life and a sort of history to Yliakum.

I will miss your newspaper but i really hope you will find a solution. It was too good to be forgotten.

Hi Bertrand,

For the mouse the best thing to do before the bug fix in the next release is to go buy a generic map in the library in East Hydlaa, edit it and save. It fixes the mouse bug until relog. Try also in PS setup to change things for your graphics problems.

If you see a member of the jumping goffrels guild in game, he can also help you in french ;)

PS: I've also Vista on a notebook with a bad Ati card. I needed to load unofficial "omega drivers" or something like that, hope for you you have an nvidia.

EDIT french: Pour la souris tu peux acheter une "generic map" a la librairie d'hydlaa east. Si tu trouves pas demande a un joueur. Ensuite edite la map, enregistre, et ca fait disparaitre le bug de la souris. Pour tes problèmes graphiques ouvre le PSsetup de ton menu démarrer et essaye de modifier les réglages.
Je suis aussi sous Vista avec une carte graphique ATI et j'ai du charger des drivers graphiques pas officiel pour que ca marche. Voilà :) email moi si tu as d'autres porblèmes.

And DR is not like another world, it could be a bit like an immaterial one, where you have just spiritual interactions, so no trade and pick up is maybe more appropriate

I really like it :) Great little program.
Is it possible to keep in memory our "filters" when the program shuts down?
It could me more nice if we could choose more logs like system and have a special sound for selected events when we succed in mining or not by example :)
