problem with vista

Hi all ! 
I am french and i Love this game but i can't play it 
I am on vista
my problem is :

I open the game  .
the mouse is very slow .  They put that the speed is between 400/550 , in the fragnetic server .  I connect myself and then I my very black character sees. I play and all the skins are black, one distinguishes anything, all is black and white...    

Help me please I don't understand why i can't play so help me !!!!

Download the latest graphics drivers from your graphics card manufacturer please.  Most likely, it'll be either ATI or Nvidia.  The graphics drivers that ship with your operating system are garbage and don't support OpenGL.

Hi Bertrand,

For the mouse the best thing to do before the bug fix in the next release is to go buy a generic map in the library in East Hydlaa, edit it and save. It fixes the mouse bug until relog. Try also in PS setup to change things for your graphics problems.

If you see a member of the jumping goffrels guild in game, he can also help you in french

PS: I've also Vista on a notebook with a bad Ati card. I needed to load unofficial "omega drivers" or something like that, hope for you you have an nvidia.

EDIT french: Pour la souris tu peux acheter une "generic map" a la librairie d'hydlaa east. Si tu trouves pas demande a un joueur. Ensuite edite la map, enregistre, et ca fait disparaitre le bug de la souris. Pour tes problèmes graphiques ouvre le PSsetup de ton menu démarrer et essaye de modifier les réglages.
Je suis aussi sous Vista avec une carte graphique ATI et j'ai du charger des drivers graphiques pas officiel pour que ca marche. Voilà email moi si tu as d'autres porblèmes.

no one can tell you what drivers you need untill you tell us what graphics card you have.

many reasons why the server goes down.

probably most common reason is a server crash.  mostly not that big of a deal, as the server is set to automatically come back up after a crash.  so unless the server gets stuck in an endless loop crash cycle, it's back up with in 5-10 minutes or even sooner.

due to the nature of development, crashes do happen, but they are looked at constantly and fixed when they can be, so the server is actually quite stable now than what it used to be.

It'd make a difference if it's a laptop, ATI also makes a mobility version of the X1300.  But then again if you were able to install the latest drivers from the website then that's no longer relevant.

Yes ATI makes mobility drivers for the laptop graphic cards... but not for vista I needed to install this drivers
