Aaah, I haven't been this excited about a game in quite a while

Knock yourselves out. And yes, I AM a boy. During my last trip to France, a restauranteur invited me into his establishment. We spoke for ten minutes (I was drunk) in rapid French before he called me "une jolie fille" - a pretty girl?!

Hey all; pleased to meet you!
I am impatiently waiting for the server to be active again. I discovered this game last night and am really eager to play.
My system is 1.6 GHz dual processor, 256MB (I think) video card, 512MB ram etc, so it should be ok to play. In fact, it's not 512MB ram. It is 502MB - will that be a serious problem?
Anyway, I wanted to ask some questions about the game, if anyone has the time to read this!
Even though I've read the concept and history, economy sections thoroughly etc, I still don't entirely understand what this game is "about"
How does life for a noob start out in this game, and what options lie open to one?
