Hey all; pleased to meet you!
I am impatiently waiting for the server to be active again. I discovered this game last night and am really eager to play.
My system is 1.6 GHz dual processor, 256MB (I think) video card, 512MB ram etc, so it should be ok to play. In fact, it's not 512MB ram. It is 502MB - will that be a serious problem?
Anyway, I wanted to ask some questions about the game, if anyone has the time to read this!
Even though I've read the concept and history, economy sections thoroughly etc, I still don't entirely understand what this game is "about"
How does life for a noob start out in this game, and what options lie open to one?

Well, that all depends on what you are looking for in the game. I suggest reading through some of the tutorials and guides in this forum to give yourself a good idea of what to first expect. Guides and Tutorials

And here you'll find some of the things players do for fun in-game. Interesting plots and good RP in most of them. You don't need a specific level or item to role play so it's a very newbie friendly activity and pretty much the center of the game.
