I'm able to use the search function (as you may notice if you read my post, instead of just complain on new players).
But everywere I found out about this problem, was always said that is was a problem of MINUTES, or in the worst case, a couple of hours.
For days now it was down for the entire daytime (daytime for Italy of course, maybe this is the problem, I notice that around midnight it starts working).

This is what my post is about, not knowing why rats are impervious to attack!!!

Another little question..today for the first time I tried to combine two items to cook: in this case apple jam and a slice of bread.
I put both on preparation table and hit "combine". It appears the message "you start working on combine items" and they instantly become the combined item (spreading apple jam) but no message like "you've created spreading apple jam" appears, and no experience points are assigned.
I think I have to wait, but after a couple of minutes, it becomes "Gunk" this time with all the messages (and experience points in cooking too

).

It is the right way for combine to work (no message at the end and no exp points) or I messed up something?

Hi everyone. I read everything in this forum and in the rules about this thing, but in all the places I read it was specify that this is a sort of "transient" thing, that everything will fix in a resonable time.

Now I'm playing for a week or so for several hours a day, and I was able to attack monster only in two or three occasion, while in the 90% of time all monster are impervious to attack.

I have just now 4 quest blocked for this,two of them are in Ojaveda and I can't move elsewhere while waiting (for all day long!!) that rats become attackable, because if I move to Hylldaa I cannot be able to run back in the few time the moster are not impervious.

it's only my problem or this "bug" it' s a little more serius than reported on FAQ???

I have problem with cooking too. I have my good Kitchen Knife, and I want to slice the pungent tuber on a prep. table.
I read the book the NPC gave me and read that I need to use the preparation table with the knife, but I can't actually figure out what this means.
I tried put the tuber in the examine menu of the table but it says "You are not sure what to to with (item)". I try to click "Use" with the knife equipped, I tried to put the knife itself in the menu of the table and then click "combine"...nothing.
I'm confused about something very basic or I need somewhat else???

Update: I tried everything I can think, I tried used the same words the NPC just said, I tried to ask someone in charachter ma nobody has done that quest.
And now??? I also tried to ask my item back to the NPC to do that quest in another time, but she doesn't understand that either.
This is really annoying...two days with a stuping thing like this!!!

Thank you for you help. This is very frustrating to have to stay here 30 minutes only to say "I need ******(number) of that thing" $:@#\$ and I don't even find the logs...I suppose I'm doing somethig wrong but onestly I can't imagine waht

Thanks for the hint with the trade.
I will recheck the logs, but I write down before the exact words of the quest-giver and try in every way to tell her...there is some special way to write numbers? she don't understan me, but to me the sentence seems quite clear...

Modify: now I'm struck with this number thing..I give the object to the NPC and I can't find the right thing to say. If I disconnect what will happen?? The quest will stay frozen? Or I will lost the item and the possibility to end this thing?
