Wish list / Optional Blackspace

I'm using a resoloution on 1024x786 though my screen can handle a much bigger reso. My screen has a max of 1440x900 and i was thinking, if it would be possible in the future to have a maxed window with a 1024 gaming 'winodw' in the center and blackspace surrounding it. This blackspace could be used for messaging, stats, character-info and so forth; put aside so my view is clearerer.

Blackjack is cardgame, but collect a few fellow adventurers and play it with die.

Example:

dealer: /roll 1 12
player1: /roll 2 12
--- and so forth

Only real bummer is that 1 cannot be 11 unless you roll one at a time, and who wants to do that? Do you?

Taught a Klyros BJ today... Who else can brag about that?

(edit, okay - rolling 1 at a time might actually be best)

I have never played MUD's before, and even after the tutorial I'm still quite... numb in my head, when it comes to communicating with NPC's.

Could you please generate a list of common phraces? What can I expect an NPC to understand? 'Cause they rarely understand anything i say, and when they finally do understand, it's a phrace i find totally far fetched myself.

(I can feel that people will say "it will spoil it"...)

I also have this problem, but figured out a way to fix it... Sometimes. :)

When you character stops attacking - if he attacked at all - switch to "don't attack" stance, and then back to "attack".

I think you ought to create an alliance of PlaneShift experts who are NOT involved in the actual design and programming of the game. This game has been up for how long? And how many experts on the game do you think there are by now? People who weally live it.

Anyway: Send them the database of dishes, and let them together tell you what a dish will do. You will review their answers, and you will see that they know what they're talking about. I am not an 'expert' on the game myself, but to me it seems right. You have a giant recourse of knowledge you didn't even knew you'd given, there.

I had tonns of problems figuring out the initial tutorial, but when I finally figured it out I met people who were actually playing their roles instead of comparing "EXP" and so forth. I think it's a good trick to keep out those who just want yet another game to play around with, and those who actually wants to make an efford roleplaying.
