I cant't get the login account user and password to work on the .5 client. I used the same email address and password that I used on the .4.03 client, but no luck. Do I have to make a new character associated with the new client? If this is true all my hard work will be gone. This would be very hard to accept. I hope my old character can be played on this server. Please tell me what I must do?

Great job Developers. 
I was able to get into the game from my Mac after folowing the thread and applying the changes required.
The lag time is a problem, especially in the hydlaa area.
I love the rideable mounts
I did not crash going from Hydlaa to Ojaveda and back and then to the Bronze Doors. I found I had to cahnge to not run going through the transition areas though. I could not easily control the mount. Overall though a great job so far.
The other issue I have is the Screen Resolution. I would like it to be 1680x1050. The 0.4.3 version had a selection of other to do that. That is missing from the pslaunch.app of 0.5.0 RC2.

Look I have spent many months getting my stats and skills raised. Wiping my character will mean I have to start all over from scratch. I think the wipe should not occur.
If it happens I may not play this game any longer. Too much blood, sweat and effort has been spent achieving this. Other mmorpgs do not do character wipes. Why must PlaneShift be the exception? This is crazy. I voted to not do a wipe.

The time of the event is 21 GMT. It will start at the Hydlaa gazebo. At that time, each player entered will be called to trade with me to receive the clues.

The Warriors Scavenger hunt
1 Prize of 1 million tria to the first to complete the hunt with the correct solution.
The rules: Maximum 25 partipants.
No hints will be given.
First: Go to the library and buy a blank book. (or you may use a blank book you allready have.)
Clues to where the scavenger hunt books are will be given to each of the participants on the day and time the hunt begins.
(hint: the books must be found in the order that are found. ie Scavenger 1, Scavenger 2 and so on.)
Hunt will begin on October 31, 2009 starting at 21 UTC(GMT).
There are 31 scavenger books placed throughout all of Yliakum.
In your blank book change the name of the book to your in game name. As you find each scavenger book you will write in your book:
The location. (Found in the scavenger information) Then the item (also found in the scavenger book)
When you have your solution /tell Drujok
Happy hunting.

Mac OSX Specific Issues / Combat sounds dissapear after about 15 to 20 minutes playing.

Mac OSX Specific Issues / After Updating my Imac OS to 10.5.7 none of the planeshift applications will run

I updated my Imac OS to 10.5.7 and now none of the Planeshift applications will run. Not the psupdater.app or pssetup.app or psclient.app. The new operating system must have changed something so that PlaneShift application will not run. ?

I have tried to lighten my screen buy adding brightness corrections but the shadows are to dark to see. This was not a problem before.
