Sorry Dramborleg, but begging for affirmative critics only is ridiculous. You apparently presume Picasso was complimented always only?
Since personally I think my contradiction of your claim would taint any attempted specific critics, I would rather refuse from the latter.

LigH, I dont think merely praising everything in general, just for it was posted and it was for illustrating individual PS-ideas, makes the respective novice (or say artist) improve in any way, do you? Or are you simply entertained, hence your thumps-up?

I have spent a lot of time to level more than one alt to a stage acceptable to my needs, to fulfill its requirements for correspondant RP desire - having started to play several alts at once for getting them to a certain stage, merely to maintain the curtain at its later event. Back in the days I had supplied numerous alts with Winch-access, only for being able to entertain befriended ones within the according area in an according setting.

That was back in the time. I just wondered to give PS another try.

I have to start in the sewers, try to figure out which of the beast ones to kill first, I do so, I step to the next ones, the great big one goal of accessing Winch-access on my mind, far away it is.. - of course I could just use my old character, but then one char got a history.

Chiming in: Make previously acquired levels transferable to another char, even to that price of subtracting (read: deleting) those same levels off that old char.

Bind appearance to be chosen at character creation to initial stats. Bodybuilder type of guys would have high physical stats and low mental ones, other appearances accordingly. And then also (finally) implement restrictions for levels of stats so that an Einstein char wont be trainable to Schwarzenegger physique and Legolas agility at the same time. Three or perhaps five different physiques would already be sufficient.

I agree that even in the case of a most spoiling description only the relevant facts should be given to the character approaching, but then again, as you have obviously noticed, you play with human people, and it seems to happen these ones get biased, intentionally or not, caring or not. You still could try to avoid that, raise tension doing so, tell an exciting and creepy story by not revealing important details.
And since for playing evil chars secrecy is more important, apparently playing a "good" character well is less hard than playing an evil one, I agree. The more a well played evil char would be appreciated. Dont get discouraged, keep it up. Those players you consider good and trustable RPers you can open your plans for your char and they wont adapt their chars behaviour. In case of doubt however, I would rather not tell too much, for the same reason I would simply not include any details of that type into a (public) description.
