Well, as far as i know, Windows/ATI fails miserably.
It can be played, but it looks really bad and the Frame rate is a shame.
Can CS perform well on this Hardware/Software ? Its not Exotic.
Game Marketing 101: Make your Game run OK on all common Platforms.


If Crystal Space is really bad on ATI/Windows, it may be better to use a more compatible Engine, like Irrlicht.
And to add insult to injury... we cant run down a Hill on a mount, because it would cause falling damage...  the physics are broken, too.  :beta:

Good Question, you can have my Opinion  :)

1. Reasonable GUI (let me cast spells in a simple way, drag and drop and hit a button)
2. Reasonable  Game Mechanics (balancing)
3. Reasonable Character Animations (one race does a "bow" as idle animation.. like WTF?)
4. Reasonable  Game Engine (seems like you need Linux/NVIDIA)
5. Reasonable Quest Bugfixes (and fix the bugs quick, like in less than 6 months)
...and 6th, fix all well known Exploits.  :beta:

For OpenGL testing, i suggest GPU Caps Viewer.
My ATI 4870 supports OpenGL 3.3 and it runs the "Furry Cube" demo without exploding... good enough to get PlaneShift running.  :innocent:

You can try and use Process Monitor to figure out which Program deletes your psclient.
It may take some time to figure out how to use this, but this Program is really useful.
How can a File just disappear ? A Virus or faulty Antivirus ? (in Fact some Antivrus Software can be configured to delete Games).  :sweatdrop:

The "mount" command should list all mounted devices and their flags.
I'm not sure about the best way to change these, but you may try and edit /etc/fstab

The Pterosaurs don't work on Laanx, only on EZPC, but not from certain npc's.

I managed to get outsite the city for a screenie, but now i just have to work out how to get back inside :D

You may want to try reCAPTCHA for SMF.
There are Instructions for a Manual Install on SMF 1.1.12.
Sure its annoying as Hell, but a Forum without proper Spam Protection will soon be flooded with Garbage.

The Installation Guide says you should execute the Installer (.bin file), not pslaunch (its probably not yet extracted).
I'm just guessing here, i use Windows.  :-[

You got to be kidding... 50 copies a week, 250 tria each = 12500 tria.
Thats approx. what i make from 2 refined iron Stocks or 1 good Helmet.

I miss her already.  :'(
