Perhaps once PS is like, fully implemented, the gods could see fit to bless us with a PS guild page creation utility that the heads and second-in-commands of a guild could use to make a little guild page hosted on http://www.planeshift.it?

Something like Silk the Theif in The Belgariad by David Eddings?

Maybe a housing system where you can buy different types of bigger and better locks from a blacksmith with a high dexterity. The blacksmith could get the componemt metals, smith them, and then install them on his house, or the houses of others for a small fee.

Then the thief could come along with his set of lockpicks (which he may have made himself, or he may have had made for him by a blacksmith) and tries to open the door into the house.

I was just looking through the Char creation pages (using up all the decent usernames) and i noticed that there is no \'theives guild\' though all of the \'wholesome\' crafts are covered.

I was just curious, will there ever be an option to become a small wirey little sneak thief instead of a boring all action hero?

At the moment, there don\'t seem to be a race which could be kinda sneaky (with the possible exception of Enkidukai...Cat people) as like a career (humans might work, i dunnno), but there isn\'t a thieves guild, which is the main purpose of this rant.

Will there ever be one?

I think something like the Runescape quest system. Picture the scene:

1) \'THE MAN\' wants something done.
2) He REALLY wants it done bad.
3) Is he going to entrust the quest to one hero/group or heroes?
4) NO! - he\'s going to get as many people onto it as possible, thus i feel that there should be one monster in the \'original\' world, not having any microcosms created.

The monster could respawn with some most excellent effect, or maybe just get up after being killed (after the adventurers are out of sight)
