Argh! It still hasn\'t worked.....but I found out it was running in safe mode. How do I turn safe mode off?

Help!! When I finish creating a charcter and the upload box appears, I type in all of the required fields and everything but when I click \"upload\" nothing happens. I assume that the character has been uploaded, so I exit and then go to the main menu and go to \"connect\". I fill out the required fields but when I hit the connect button, it says the server is unreachable or down for the moment, check the site. I check the site but it is online and nothings wrong with it, and other people are logged in. I also checked to see if the character was even created, but it says it isn\'t. I made three characters, Thanaz, Duwul and Daklory. Could you help with this problem? I really want to play.
