Alright: To four of you who have volounteered to be statics (Monketh, Draklar, Mogura, and Elegrand) I have sent PMs with your instructions.

The rest of you can be players for this one. See my thread in the RP forums for more info.

The quest I designed has 0 fight scenes.

Through experience, I have found that fighting does not work in MB. For example, the system you mentioned does not support stats, meaning that a weakling can kill a Kran. Also, it does not support magic.

Best to keep fights out of quests for now, but hopefully that will change with CB.

Anyway, get questin\'!

But just one fight? Final Boss? Me? Stat-less fight ^^ just to rise up their adrenaline in the end ^^ :P j/k

Draklar doesn\'t have the time right now to be a static in game, so I\'ll be PMing another one with Draklar\'s previous role.

Actually in the quest I am running, there\'s no set time. Go around and explore in-game, talking to statics. The statics do not have to be online all the time, so luck is a part of the quest in that you have to be lucky to find one of the statics online when you\'re on.

Hmm yeah afraid so. Still, someone might take the initiative to start a new quest, and I\'ll start a new one when three people solve mine.

Vampire shield quest in Tibia
« Reply #44 on: September 15, 2004, 10:00:06 pm »
I hope you won\'t get angry at me for reviving this thread.
A few days ago there was a quest in Tibia made by players. They didn\'t do it like we tried to though. They planned it for a specific hour, so all the quest statics were online. The adventurers met in the castle where they were given the first hint, and then went on the journey. We didn\'t know what the statics\' names were, we only knew how they were dressed.
The quest was quite long (and hard). You had to bring some bread to a hungry farmer, find a crazy man in a dungeon (and get out safely), deal with a guy who wanted to conquer the world, solve a riddle and retrieve a cursed shield from a dragon to free the soul of an adventurer captured in it.
There were two rewards: for the first person/team to solve the quest and for the best roleplayer. Yes, we were roleplaying and it was really fun. Most of us haven\'t finished it though, the first team did it in 3,5 hours!
I have to say it was fun as hell, more than the regular quests. I think making such an event is worth the effort, though it wasn\'t me who prepared it.
Here you can read the background story if you\'re interested.
