1) they can\'t be adding in new concepts for CB once they\'ve started testing it for bugs. Why on earth would you add new stuff during testing. You would only fix areas that need fixing.

Not true.

Development of any major, new features is pretty much frozen out, but integrated testing of any new feature starts the day that it gets committed to CVS.

If we want these games to be what we want we have to take control

Ha!

If you want this game to be something other than what it is, write it.  If that doesn\'t fit in with the vision of the existing team, you\'ll be stuck making your own game.  Voluntary team development is a sacrificial process - I think that everyone has to give up a little of what they want in order to have something acheivable.

EDIT: aside from bug-fixing in the code, a part of what is happening now is the \"stitching together\" of the various pieces of art & levels into one world.

Agrees with dfryer, especially about the writing down the suggestions. Thats about as close as you can expect to add input unless the devs ask you for it.

Do not repeat the tactics which have gained you one victory, but let your methods be regulated by the infinite variety of circumstances.

I\'m not even gonna start to argue that. I mean if that\'s what you want, i can\'t get you to change your mind, but if you were all under my command, well ........  :]

*laughs*

I\'m pretty content with the way things are going actually, they don\'t bother me. I understand a project like this takes time, and I\'d rather the devs got it right. I hear SWG was rushed and a buggy piece of crap was released... that\'s not good.

hey devs just stop looking at the forums and work !

Just kidding of course (you\'ll get used to it in the end :) )

You\'re just doing the best project in the world and thousands of people are just waiting for you to release it... me ? pressuring ? no ! I\'d never do that ! :D
