Actually, BTW, Bats do fly, if a bit differently from birds... And Klyros wings are supposedly weak-looking. They were descended from flying creatures, not necessarily birds or anything, but their adapting may have made them more of a land-dwelling creature, and they also learned to swim well, their former aerodynamic shaping also making them hydrodynamic. They are mainly land-dwelling creatures however, and lack of use of their wings over the years would have led to the wings shrinking and weakening to their present state. They still have strength to hold themselves open and move them a little, but would likely not be able to flap hard enough or fast enough to attain a sustained flight. Perhaps one who worked their whole life to build muscles in the wing... But even that would be iffy.

PS: BTW UtM, that video makes Batman seem so much more believable >.>

To me they look more like water based wings than air based wings.... webbed toes help them swim faster and the wings help direct them much more efficiently... kind of like an underwater bird...

There is an alternative, more probable theory that 9/11 was in fact caused by Hanson's 1997 smash hit 'MMMBop.'
