hey,
a few things:

forget about that. You are using windows, and if you are not into programming, I think it doesn\'t really make sense to compile your own client there...
i have 224 RAM...is that bad? probaly is...
Well thats not too bad. You have 256MB of RAM overall, but you\'r vid card takes 32MB of it, since it is an onboard card with shared memory.
I have something called a sis/650/651/m650/740 for a video card....
What does that mean, what megs is it (see if i could use that post if its 128 or 64)
As I said above its an onboard video card and it uses 32MB of your main memory. Now there are several possibilities:
Some systems support shared video memory up to 64MB, so maybe you have the possibility to increase the amount of your video memory, but at the same time it would decrease the system memory. In that case you could change your settings (it should be documented in your manuals somewhere, how to change that) until you found the fastest setup.
If you can\'t take any more of your main RAM for the vid card (if 32MB vid mem are the max) you can still look for some new drivers for your system.
But anyways you won\'t get much more performance out of it, since those onboard video adapters usually don\'t get the performance of a separated video card (with few exceptions, but not in your case).
So two alternatives would be either to upgrade your RAM or to buy a new (faster) video card (so you could deactivate the onboard one and use all of the 256MB as main memory).
Finally I only hope I haven\'t confused you too much...
