I wish them the best, even if I see it as a last trial for survival.

On another note we can use their art, being now open, but I've reviewed some months ago the whole repo and unfortunately the majority of the art is very low res (like textures of 256x256) and overall pretty low quality. So nothing can be really reused.

As for your art, I would not worry about anybody trying to take it, even if it was free. No one is interested in late 90s quality art anymore.

I noticed the same thing. And even if the art was good quality, it's funny how hard things are to re-use anyway when they're not made for your project. The textures have the wrong size, they don't fit the model properly, re-using art is not a simple matter of copy-paste. The things you can really re-use well are generic grass/sky/wood textures. And if you need to re-use those, you should think again about being a designer :P

Last I checked Underthemoon's project also hasn't gotten past the late 90s... and I played a tech demo of yours. Seriously, that art made PlaneShift look amazing.

Let's see: Reflective water, Normal, Spec, and Displacement maps, various other shaders, a game that works and has mechanics ... yeah, we've passed the year 2000.

I really do wonder why you bother hanging around UtM, at least the other members of your team have the respect and dignity to not make themselves look like jaded prats by bitchfighting on their competition's forums. Still not over the fact you were fired? Nawwww. My heart bleeds for you, really.
