A lot of these rules can apply both to mages and warriors. There\'s no really difference between slaying someone and casting a doom-fireball to the same person (or another if the first one hasn\'t respawn yet

). For these rules, i have read that PK will not be allowed. Combat will be allowed only in areas or if the two persons agrees.
For \'prohibited schools\', i think it\'s a good idea. A lot of spells from Dark Way can be prohibited so using them will decrease your reputation (low reputation = bounty on your head or guards that attack you when you enter in a town). To be sure that Xalthar and the Cabal don\'t flame me

, these loss of reputation can happen only if someone lawful see you casting a prohibited spell
For registration, i don\'t really see the interest... There are Magic-specific guilds that you can join if you like magic (no, i\'m not advertising for AO, that\'s not the guild forum

). If only registred mages can cast spells, everybody will regist so that if they feel the need, they can cast spells (remember that there is no classes in PS). If there is drawbacks from registring, i think that this will break game balance, making mages weaker. (especially if the drawback is a tax, new players will not be able to play mages since they haven\'t the money to register)
Wow, my first long post
