Some Server Troubles

It appears that we are having some stablity problems with the Molecular Blue ( planeshift.fragnetics.com ) server ( ie it tends to be crashing a lot ).    I\'m trying to look at this but it\'s hard because it\'s really out of date and the tools for development are different now.  If we cannot fix it or the problem is happening too much we may bring down the server until the Crystal Blue release is ready.

AHH no don\'\'t look to much into it go back to CB go go go.  MB is good but, back to CB now!! :P

Yeah,  Ithink alot of people would rather have CB a day earlier even if it meant a month without MB :) But if you get bored with CB, noting stopping you from looking into it.

Hmm, yeah, but you still get a good hours play most times before it goes down, which is plenty of time to hoard some more crystals. :) So keep it up for now, unless it gets really bad.

If you need anymore testers for CB and the MB server is down you could increment a counter in the netcode and have daily CVS snapshots of CB on the server. Release the snapshot two hours before the server is updated so that people have time to upgrade.
Not snapshot like tar balls, but make CVS give you the most recent daily release and make the Windows client updater get the most current daily release.
