Yeah, I tried finding it there too but that site is worse than the stone labyrinths.
I suggest the statue of Laanx gets turned into a statue of Parallo <3. An NPC could never replace the huge hole he left in my heart when he died  :'(

I am not authorized to view that page. Might as well have not posted it or the entire thread if you won't answer any questions.

[This is right, Parallo - I would never have opened up a post at one of these forums...
The specific player is banned by our guild now.
No informations about us here and no informations about The Organisation for non-members at the webpage...if you want to experience The Organisation, then feel free to ask one of us in game.]

Makes it awfully hard to decide if one wants to join but its your choice obviously. Good luck with the guild.

I do appreciate your concerns over IC/OOC issues but there is also this if it will still happen.

I know that if it were not for the forums I would not have discovered the Empire and become interested and would probably not have made the friends I did and probably not still be playing now.

All I had meant was that the forums should not totally be shunned. I'll leave it.

[Kind Parallo, I really appreciate your concerns, but I really don't like the idea of posting in game contents in a public forum...Takes the idea of roleplay away for me...I would never have opened up any in game posts here...but for sure I can't delete them...(I really would)...only so far, after our merge back to one big guild, we are again more than 90 members and don't need any players, who read anything in a forum...I prefer to recruit the ones, who I talked to in game. So no need to worry :) But thank you for your comments. It shows, that there is life on this forum (although my opinion is, that this forum should be opened only for non-game-related topics)]

Hello Skar!
I must tell you that you do not seem, in my opinion, to demonstrate a great affinity to Role Play. Your ability to distinguish OOC from IC and to make use of those concepts seems to be lacking, as you use brackets in a forum (where we're already expecting everything is OOC) and you seem to neglect the OOC part of the game.
If seeing a screen and a keyboard in front of you doesn't keep your mind off from the role play, than I think having accurate information and actually developing the guild outside the game (ie, when you're not logged on) might feel like a great experience to you. Then again, you may completely dislike it and rather keep your successful mass recruiting guild running as it is. No bars, obviously. And no offense meant either, everything is in constant need of improvement, including me and my criticism.

You demonstrate a level of professionalism way below what should be expected from a guild leader, Skardellinus, I'd recommend that you work on that.  Don't take this as an insult just, as a suggestion from somebody who has been through very much due to the community jumping on guild member's (including myself) lack of restraint, calm and respect.

What Sangwa was trying to say is feel free to be more open with your guild on the forums, it may entice more people to join your guild whereas it will be thought of as purely OOC and so you won't be giving away information.  You don't have to take his advice but, if you don't, you should at least reply respectfully.

All in all this thread has been almost a complete waste, from what I've seen.  Perhaps you will change that by taking our advice and revealing what your guild is about.  Perhaps not.

Either way, I wish you the best of luck.

To put what Sangwa and Waylander have already said yet another way... The forums are not generally for recruiting characters to your guild, they're for recruiting players. I'm as big a fan of RP a you'll find in PS, but even I realize that a guild founder needs to convince other players that it's worthwhile having their character become a member of the guild... If a decent RPer stumbles across a guild in-game about which he knows nothing, chances that he has his character join up without knowing anything about the guild OOC, without knowing whether the players who created the guild have any real idea of what's going on or what they're trying to achieve and that it might just be some random people held together by a barely plausible storyline, are slim.

This Thread no longer serves as a promotional thread for the Organization Guild, as the guild's ownership has swapped from this topic's poster to another person.
