would be nice if instead of seeing stats or what ever. if a player gets a good reputation or finishes a special quest, a song be played in the town plaza by a bard.  a bard NPC that when you talk to him/her they ask if you would like to hear the song of a brave warrior, adventurer, or what ever the person was that did what ever deed it was.

The hall of fame thing is cool, but i think there should be certian events. Yeah, legend events. A big tournement and it you win you become a legend.

example: if my name were yupidupi, and i won the event, my statue would be in the hall, and my name would show up as LEGEND yupidupi.
I dont know what im talkin about, just a thought. lol

i really think it would be cool to check up on peoples stats and whatnot... I wouldn\'t mind if it took away from roleplaying :D

I think were all pretty much in agreement that this is a good idea if worked out right.

1.There would need to be a certain restriction on access to being admited into the hall or library.
2.It would represent a history further down the road esteemed individuals that had become legends would be more easily recognized.
3.However they would only be seen by those that took interest in there surroundings, people that were indeed roleplaying and knew certain area\'s.
4.Perhaps at the moderaters designers discretion your name would be added stating certain acomplishments.
5.Then perhaps player bards or npcs could tell a short story about the individual for a few coins,Just like how certain fellows pass along information.rogues, thieves beggars, tavern owners an such.
6.This would add another dimension and depth to our world as well as a way to pass time and idea chat as well as for some few to make needed coins.

Example:

Instead of having actual scores of people listed as being the best in this or that you could say he/she found a certain item/or slayed this or that beast.Discovered this place...I realize that the city will not be fully completed but these are some ideas.

If you have a way to work something like this out,or to discuss this feel free to respond here or in pm.

Perhaps guilds would record the deeds of their followers? Or bards could sing of your adventures? I can see many ways in which players could get the satisfaction of going \"look at all this stuff I did :D,\" while not breaking out of the roleplaying spirit of the game.
