Item Synthesizing
« on: February 19, 2004, 05:58:52 am »
I remember Final Fantasy 9\'s item synthesizing.

Where you mix two items together to get a different item, which doesn\'t necessarily have to be special. I think a job named \"synthesizer\" would be a good job to add.

I remember like: leather boots + leather wrist = Desert boots. I just thought it\'d be cool if Planeshift had something like that like:

Poisonous Mushroom Cap + steel bar = Mushroom Shield
Enkidukai Tail + Scorpion Stinger = Enkidukai Whip
etc...
My name is NOT pronounced, \"Kway-per,\" it\'s pronounced \"Kye-per.\"

poor kitty...you ripped off his tail...

But anyway, I\'m sure this would be included with weapon and armor smithing, and wouldn\'t have to start another job for it

Edit: Touch my wings and I\'ll jam my claws through your heart...

I think combinable items and such should be restricted to the smiths, except maybe gems or something of the like. Although, I never really liked socketed items all that well.
