Client Crashes

[Sensis]

I logged into the game, I made a character, I named him sensis, put in all his stats and fixed Linkdead.
Then, I go to connect.. (When you first open the client   ---> Connect) I type in pass/username. It types 5 messages, the last being initiating world or something.
Then I wait.. and wait.. The client obviously freezes, but eventually it closes and nothing happens, as if I never clicked on the client in the first place.

I\'m sort of a noob to computers.. so don\'t complicate me?

Initialising World can take up to 2 hours on some machines.  Ignore that it\'s frozen and that it says \"Not Responding\"- as long as it hasn\'t crashed and disappeared off your screen, it should be fine. Do not bring up the taskmanager or do anything else with your comp untill it loads.

I had the smae problem! BUT  wen it come to \"Initialising World\" Noting hapends for about 1 minute adn then I get an faital error mesege and the game closes.

How do i fix this?

btw i have an 800 MHz Pentium 3 and 512 MB RAM

but anyways i had the same problem, You just have to wait and do nothing- don\'t bring up other programs or try to exit or minimize PS while it is loading initially. On my 98 (ancient) it took less than 15 min so it should take less than 40 minutes for you. Remember, don\'t do anything while it is loading initially, go do something else or just wait it out.
