When will the Mac version be ready?
« on: August 28, 2004, 08:27:28 am »
Just curious when the Mac version is going to be ready? I would really like to play.  Can anyone answer this question for me?

Thanks

I highly recommend searching the forums for \"mac version\" or something like that, but Watcher is correct.  Last night I succesfully connected a Mac client to the test server for CB without any major problems.

There is still lots of random crashing everywhere, so it\'ll be released when CB is ready.

Thanks,
Daniel

Woohoo!!! *Jumps up and down and dances* Is that crashing both clients or just the Mac one? (and is it easy to fix?)

Pure random crashes can be hell to fix.
Other crashes is usally pretty easy to fix.

dfryer is making the PS Mac client, and he reports that it almost runs perfect

I love not having a Mac...
If I got one it\'d be for Graphics work only...

Lol Shadowbane crashes all the time and its been outta beta for over a year...

If you could just get a decently working client out thatd rock .. im sure many of the mac users will be willing to send crashlogs or w/e to help you fix any bugs in it

If we could set up some sort of mass effort to profile and tune the CrystalSpace engine on the mac, that would be awesome, but I don\'t think I have the l33t openGL skillz to pull that off just yet.
