DR in arena?

If we die in the PVP arena will we be sent to the death realm?  This will really suck if we do because people will then be scared to go there and that will make it empty.  What if we go through somthing a little less harsh then going to the DR.  We could have to pay the gods like 100 tria when we die or somthing.

I agree with you, some other penalty for death is needed for the PVP arena. Otherwise, you are right in that people will probably get discouraged.

why should dieing there be any different from dieing normally?
if you\'re going to fight you can expect to die. or pull out of the fight before you are deadly woonded

on note most deaths will probably be in the arena as is there are many players that wanna pvp also from my understanding it will be sorta like eq where when you come back to the normal world you still must go to your body and loot it if that is the case then we are going to have trouble trying to get our bodies back from inside the arena cause youd have to enter it and by doing so make yourself a vulnerable targert.

If you risk dying in the arena and you would have to fight all the way back through the death realm to do another fight, I can imagine that DR itself then would become the scene for any PVP duals instead

Say someone would like to make a little tourney (not knock-out) - say 5-6 people. This wouldn\'t be possible anywhere else than DR unless they plan to spend hours instead of 15 minutes

If its a pvp \'arena\' cant you just knock-out other players? as arena sugests to me that its honorable and not like a battlefield, this is where you could hold your turny and not die just be shamed.(like spoonscapes duel arena, but good)

If there was a pvp arena could there also be a not so honourable place like a pvp area (simaler to spoonscapes wilderness but not of poor quality) where people die and are dead?

Anyways yes if you are brave enough to stand in a fighting arena you should be rewarded with the same fatal death as a real fight. Although if its not a to the death fight, then seperate arenas should be made to accomodate both kinds.

Sparring Arena for the non-kill fights

I\'d prefer a sparring arena I think. Then, when I die, I wouldn\'t have to go to the effort of escaping the death realm, fight, return to collect my corpse, fight, return to town and stock up, fight, go back to the arena. Repeat.

if you have a duel you can have the dual till someone gets knocked out instead of killed, when you\'re knocked out (if your hp reaches 1 in pvp) then you get teleported out there instead of going to the DR....

cause it would really discourage people to fight if they don\'t want to go  trough the deathrealm all the time.

Sparring means fighting with swords so you need a better name than the sparing arena (Assuming pepole can use magic or bows)
