Hydlaa ghost city??
« on: September 02, 2004, 10:54:26 am »
A few minutes ago there were only two people walking through the streeds of Hydlaa!!
Me and my friend and fellow explorer Gellule were the only ones, we feeled quite alone.

It\'s sad  to see the flourishing town Hydlaa turns into a ghost city. It\'s sad to see that when the crystals dont spawn for a moment, so much people tend to lose their interest.

The last few times I was on, there were a fair few people , around 20 or so... (small but large for this point in time, perhaps it\'s the holiday season in Hydlaa/Yliakum)

I spent my time talking to Zetsumei, RedMonk, Nilaya, Hevrah, Starjumper and Zph, occasionally some others, like that amusing Racist Enki cult leader... name is Z something...

I probably should not be making exuses like this. But I have been gone so that my Background story for CB actually makes sence. I could -I suppose- just keep playing and write whatever I want.
I agree that it is sad that there are so few people actually playing these days.
I suppose thats better, in a way, than it was when I last visited, with all the Spammers and n00bz (used appropriatly) cloging the yell channel. Must admit I am starting to miss being there though. Maby I will cut my absience short. Can\'t guarantee that anyone will see me (seeing as I play around 0:00 local time and that is something like 08:00 GMT) but you may have encouraged my early return. :)

I just left the game, and there were around 24 people on for a few hours straight. It\'s 4am here...
Hmm, I was enjoying myself... Crystals aren\'t spawning normally

Ah, I come when I can, however, there\'s no furniture in my house.
Also, I can\'t share i-net access because only one computer will accept it, and my router refuses to direct me farther than the cable modem....

Edit: Ah, and for my part, whenever I\'m on, I usually in-character.  Come by and rp a bit.  :)

The key to manipulative bargaining is to ask for something twice as big as what you want, then smile and nod when you are talked down to your original wish. You are still young, my apprentice, and have much to learn in the ways of the force. -UtM

Ah its true that very few people play MB but if more than say 40 people where on you would lose the whole small community aspect of MB

It is easier to hate than it is to love.

You\'re kidding, right? ;P

If 100 people were on, then yes I would somewhat agree with your statement.
Judge: Are you trying to show contempt for this court, Mr Smith?
Smith: No, My Lord. I am attempting to conceal it.

Actually, I think the record is 52~54.  Ask Kada.  :P

Could\'ve sworn the record is 70-something.

Well just wait a few days/weeks/months/years, and I\'m sure we\'ll have a new record as soon as CB is released ^^

I guess many people are like me : I tried MB maybe a year ago, played a few weeks to see what it looked like, and now I\'m just waiting for CB to reinstall the game. Hopefully it will keep me busy much longer ^^
sig removed, it was kinda big ^^
