For anyone that was watching for the Dragon Empires beta release or just keeping a eye on their amazing progress in the last years, here is something you need to see

Dragon Empires newsletter - 3rd September

It is with much regret that we have today announced that we have now ceased further development of Dragon Empires due to technical issues we have recently experienced with the game.

This of course is extremely sad news for everyone concerned with the game. For regular visitors of our forums, these will remain active for the foreseeable future to give you the opportunity to give your feedback and keep in touch with your fellow Dragon Empires community members.

We are still very much committed to entering the MMORPG market and are currently evaluating other potential opportunities, keep your eyes and ears open for news in the not too distant future.

Thank you again for all your loyalty and support over the previous years and we only wish we could have rewarded your passion and enthusiasm with the final game.

Best Wishes,

The Dragon Empires Team

If you don\'t know what it was or what it was going to be check it out at http://www.dragonempires.com/

EDIT: I hope they renew the project sometime in the future it was looking amazing

Indeed, it did look amazing. The graphics looked... astounding. I looked at it briefly, but did dig too deep because I knew it would be a p2p game costing $30+ a month. I am pretty surprized that the development ceased, but It doesn\'t effect my gaming in any way...

I tend to call it Slothfullness, or Lazyness, depending on my mood.
Actually they probably had some major internal problem -finacially speaking- and cut off the apendage(s) that were not \'needed\'. This just happened to be one of the \'un-needed\' fingers. :(

aww man, depth you shund have said anything.. lol now i miss it even tho i never seen it.

hey thats what happened to RoE... went down the drain them some enthusiasts picked it up and made it free.  hope that happenes to Dragon Empires... anyways

what problem could have been so immense, arge enough to stop development full swing, when they have come so far?!   surely they could have worked something out!!

Farewell Moogie, Farewell Draklar, Farewell Drey. you will be missed.
