Well, but it is true that the Arcane Order almost never is to be seen in-game... It doesn\'t matter how  much roleplaying you do, if you never play in the game!? You ARE a PlaneShift guild, right?
Besides, if you never are playing, you\'ll not get any skills. Would not be very impressive if the \"High Loremaster\" or whatever you call him, can\'t cast the most simpel spell...
More playing in the ArcaneOrder!
Adding more items is a great way to make the game last longer! :)

I\'ve seen the AO in-game plenty of times. They must be too uber cool for you to see them. Don\'t worry, It happens to alot of ignorant people.  8)

But there are plenty of other guilds that are logged in much more often and are much bigger. I know that the arcane order is quite hard (if you are not roleplaying) to join, but my point is that they could try to shut off their IRC:channels and forums and do some playing a little more often...

Please notice the limited amount of magic spells implemented, and improving your stats right now are pointless. Playing CB now is just as pointless as playing MB, perhaps even more so.

On the other hand, AO isn\'t the most active guild (publically), but perhaps thats how thay want to remain. Unbenounced and mysterious. :)

A: the ao isnt the biggest guild out there.. with about 20 members ao cannot have someone on all the time so your not going to see as much of us as say like... CoL

B: its pointless to play with so many crashes and bugs and low items and cheaters atm.

C: i for one play this game for FUN, my idea of fun usually involves alot of roleplaying.... ps has failed in this aspect so i\'ll stick to forum rp and such ..... now eventually i can live with the fact that ps isnt going to be a great RP stop but that will only happen after B. is fixed

D.  we dont announce ourselves ingame and tend not to be around the highly populated areas.

i think that covers most everything

P.S. and its rather standard for mages to be unseen and unannounced.......

It has its purpose

I am still having a good time playing CB.  It has its purpose.  We, the Sentinels of the Ragnarok, have been trying to make the best of it.  We try to play as often as possible and get our name around.  Recruiting has been another bonus because I am maxed out basically I can spend my time talking to people and helping.

we didn\'t ask for anyone\'s critisim on our methods, we\'ve been around for a year and a half, and we\'re still kicking it hard, jsut because you dont know what we do on the inside doesn\'t mean we\'re not active, see how anyone who\'s been around and knows there stuff hasn\'t really said anything, it just a bunch of you people who\'ve been here for less than 2-3 months

Druke is right. At the stage where CB is right now, it\'s not strange if some people decide to stay out of there.
Also there has already been the same discussion about activity on the DE thread and conclusion from that one was that guilds can be active without showing off in public, so no need to bring the disussion here...
These guys know what they are doing

Then why isn\'t the Arcane Order a secret guild?

The above discussion is about guilds being active without playing CB. We are \"showing off\" in public, anyone can check our website. All of us are just not very intersted in playing the tech demo for hours and hours, it is not really a good roleplaying environment yet and all you can do is leveling up the few skills implementd at the moment. We are no secret society, just try to hide the arcane tower. :D (Might be possible with some VERY powerful enchantment, though...)

Besides you seem to be obsessed by secret guilds at the moment, Themerion. If you still are guildless after a couple of months I will assume that you have created a secret Twilight Guild of your own.  :P

[/rant]
For all I care, you ignorant n00bs can go play CB all you want, and cry your tiny little n00by hearts out when the big bad server whipe tears all your phat loot in half, and flushes it down the drain, just don\'t expect to invoke my sympathy when all you care about is exploiting, exploiting and nothing but exploiting...!

I\'ve done my fair share of testing, and I still log in once in a while to check up on things, but I\'ll be damned if I\'ll have every powerleveling wannabe n00b come to our thread and spam us with worthless nonsense!

Go TEST >:|

And yes, I am a goddamned snob... as long as being so elevates me beyond your lvl of incomeptence.
