The Day, The Forums.... Died

*Sung to the tune of American Pie, out of 3rd person > : )*

A long, long time ago, I can still remember how the forums used to make me smile. And I knew if I had my chance, I would spam and flame and dance and maybe they would hate me for a while.

But September made me shiver, with each flame war I\'d deliver, mods were at the doorstep. I can\'t take one more step.

I don\'t remember if I cried when I hear Aendar was Mod-ified, but something touched me deep inside The Day, The Forums... Died.

Oh bye bye to this here Cabali Guy.
Strained my thinker as a spammer till the thinker was dry.

Did you write the book of Laanx, and did you come climb Cabali ranks, came to try and take us down? Did you see us as we overcame? Did you see when Savion rose to fame? And Draklar, we loved to make frown...

We knew that if we stayed the course, the mods would kick us, but of course. The decision then was made, the forums could not be saved.

So then one final post was made, you drove us down, you dug your grave. Cabali Country, Ylaikum is made The Day, The Forums... Died.

The forums started dying way before you became a mod. Most of the oldbies got tired of waiting or got annoyed by all the new guys.
Notice how the most members ever on the forum was almost a year ago?

Hmm youve got a point. I thought \"the day\" wads the day I joined so Im happy it was in september though :P
Im sure Im still part of the \"killers\" though (I wish I was just anouther normal member here............

Amusing, in it\'s own special way. :D


The Golden Age of Molecular Blue is ended, it\'s been declining little by little for a while now.  Fortunately, people continue to slow it\'s pace and even push it back up a bit, if only for a time.  Had CB been released during that Golden Age, who knows what would\'ve happened?

Monketh I agree, at his state the community is in right now, when CB comes out only 6 people will be on. I can even see a diff in the community and I have only been here three months.

Its not so much to make fun of, its a constant need to spew out rants or flames. Sure, Savion can do it on his own boards... but that gets old when the same ol cabal members see it over and over.

There is no one to offend, no flamewars, just spam amongst spammers which loses its glamour after a while. It was fun to get people excited and wound up. The amount of controversy the Cabal caused was immesurable... and it was so much fun. Admit it... you liked it secretly.

offcourse we loved it, but you have to find new ways to stay popular, and to cause that controversy, flaming aint everything ( just try to piss someone off using something else. )

but it became old fashioned and quite boring.
and for the song, it rock\'s ( except for that Haxx0r part, that sucked )
