I was once told that I\'d have to wait 2 years before I was considered a \'midbie\'...

FESFES, by age we mean how long we have been here, not how old someone actually is .  The only thing about actual age that matters is maturity, but that doesn\'t come with age.

And anyways, X, Draklar is behind the scenes??  He has over 2,000 posts....

Me and Waylander are about the same age, he\'s a little older (not actual age ).  But let me clarify something, Waylander=Cadoras=Armeen?

By \'behind the door\' i was refering to the fact that he doesn\'t say much latley. Not sure why. Maby he has seen it all before and is refraining from repeating himself. I don\'t know.
He is also one of Monk\'s enemies (or was last I checked.) so I always keep an eye out for him to put a knife in Lhoran, seeing as Monk and I are guild mates.

lets see...i came at almost the same time as fesx2, but i joined the forums like 2-4 weeks after him...so how old does this make me?

Who cares about your age? Last time I checked this was a community based forum for discussions, ideas and play but not some contest for uberness ^^

Forum dead? or dieing? No I don\'t see that...because look at the activity going on in this useless thread and others. I think  we are doing fine just certain groups of people are disguising their boredom with a dieing forum.

We all are and always will be wide eyed children, watching in amazement at the wonder that is life. Its mysteries forever elusive. We will be no wiser when we take our last bow on this stage than we were when the cutains first  went up on the drama of our existences. We will grow old and maybe cynical and we would like to pretend we understand it all but in our hearts we will always be aware of our tremendous ignorance.  

But enough  crap. In any game there are no Oldbies and no Newbies. However there are people who think that they are \"Oldbies\" and people who think that they are \'Newbies\". And then there are people who know enough to watch the other two and be amused Choose your type as you will...

I have played the game longer than some of you but who is to say if I have played it better?  Its not about if you registered in september 2002 or january 1822 or you beat  up moses for bugging you about the commandments while you played PS . The only thing that matters is what you did while you played it.  Be the game my friends and you will be a \"GAMER\" rather than the \"guy who plays PS\". The devs have lent us the tools but it is you who will have to create the game.



Regarding the forums and savions song:

I always said the boy had potential but who listens to old uncle Auran X(. Convinced now !!!

And the forums are changing ofcourse. But whether for better or worse who can tell? Who is to say that there wont come a day when the Defenders will once more be fighting the forces of evil under Draklar. The Rangers parrying words with one and all. Evanchild will be peddling gnomes with Mirth guys bugging him now and then. Illlyria encouraging new guilds on every acheivement they made however insignificant. Seperot being himself and not some pretended supervillian.  The little moogle being a silly little kitty loved by all .  The AO contingent Xalthar and all busy being stuffy mages. Venge making his rare , much awaited and little understood comments;). Kada being teh sexy innkeeper and grono being the laconic ill tempered matron:P. Everyone wondering if the devs had secretly joined Shadowhand. Heck even old uncle auran might be back hitting on everything female and with annah and draklar going at his throat .  

The people I know and love : Xordan, Moogla, Monketh, Seppy, Xalthar,  Yann , Zephyrus, Druke, Axyrus, Aelya, Annah, Callenlasse, Draklar, Dorbian, Davis, Kada, Eva, Illy,  Half pint ....(the list goes on but you get the idea),  its barely a year since i saw them all here and who is to say that one fine day they might all just decide to go back to the way things were? Those were the days I loved and I hope that they return but in the meanwhile what keeps us from loving what we have ? .


So lastly I apologise for making such a long post. inflicting my nostalgia on the unsuspecting forum goer . Excuse a poor ex-villian would you...

 Do you know what makes Planeshift different than other games? The community! It\'s unique, and everyone should be proud only by the simple fact it is part of it. You just have to go to the \"Guild Forums\", and you\'ll soon be a part of this never ending story, a story so beautiful that can\'t be missed.
 
 But with every new generation, there will always be the ones who will remember their nostalgic times, that will start thinking they\'re old, that will start thinking their generation was the best and that they also had the best times in here. Then they thought at what they did, what they could\'ve done, regrets comes and other things.

 Do you think I don\'t want to see Washi leading the Golden Dragon Clan again, to see Binary, Necromancer Zeal and Whitti fighting evil with their Azure Order, or to talk with people like Nu\'sham, Kendaro, Meket or others ... ?

 With these, a problem will always come. The fight between so called \"Oldbies\" and \"Newbies\". Everyone that sits an year around here thinks that now he\'s an elite, an oldbie, also being allowed to do anything he wants. I can give an example Seperot, who was a puppy when he 1st came here, now behaving like the owner of every soul he meets. I wish I could talk with the real one in the future.

 But no one ever want to think that maybe we\'re all equals like Auran said. Though, we have to understand that among us there also exists, less, aham ... gifted people, that are a pain in the ass, killing us with tons of stupid questions where the answer can be found everywhere and things like these. And sadly, 1/3 of this community is composed by them. Though, this doesn\'t mean everything is dying around here, they always come and go.

 What means for ya that the forums \"die\"? It means that people from your generation aren\'t here anymore? It means that people post what you dislike? We all have different tastes. From my point of view, the forums are just evolving, and I can guarantee this, being here from the beginning.

 In the end I\'ll just give ya a tip. Yes, past is good. But don\'t live your life thinking at it, because you\'re in danger to lose the present and the future, you\'re in danger to become a waste, a nostalgic freak that will never recover. Try something new, make new friends, \"evolve\". Don\'t waste your life thinking at only one question - \"What IF?\"

 Let\'s just make new friends, and hope we\'ll have this conversation in 2010 again!
 Maybe sometime in the future, you\'ll see Planeshift as I see it. I mean, for me, the game is this community, and I really don\'t care if the game will ever be out because we\'ve created ourselves a new world in here.
