Did you purposely post this in GD?

Anywho, ya\' dl the parts, then the assembler, it\'s really easy.

There is a reason newbie help says \"start here\"

there is a stickied thread in there that is exactly what you need.

Download the 1.part, 2.part, 3.part, 4.part and 5.part files. There\'s lots of sources to choose from, but you just need one copy of each file. Make sure you \"Save Target As\"; do not open the files, just grab a copy of them and keep reading.

Place them all in the same folder. For example, c:\\temp\\PS

Download the run_me_first.bat file from this thread. Make sure it also goes in the same folder with all your .part files.

You should now have a folder with 6 files that you downloaded from the main site and from the link I gave you. Run the run_me_first.bat file and follow any instructions. Read carefully what it tells you: it will scan all your .part files to make sure they\'re not damaged. If it reports any of them as corrupt or unusable, you must delete that .part file and re-download it. A good tip here is to not use a download manager, as they tend to corrupt downloaded files easily.

If all went well, you should now have a new file in the folder. It will be called something like \"PS.02.010.setup.exe\" or something (I can\'t remember the name). Run this file and follow the instructions to install PlaneShift on your machine.

Once the game is installed, go to it\'s folder (which should be C:\\Program Files\\Planeshift if you didn\'t specify otherwise) and run Updater.exe which will bring your copy of the game fully up to date.

Also run \"PSSetup.exe\" to configure the screen resolution and other details.

Now, just make sure you\'ve read the Player\'s Guide, and the FAQs stickied in the Newbie and Technical Help forums, and you should have absolutely no trouble. If you do have trouble... go read them all again. :)

Hope this was useful :) (Thread moved to Newbie Help forum)

Or simply use my PlaneShift assembler (In the same thread, at the top) and download the files through it and it will do everything for you

ok forget that.

Mogura I did averything you said and it worked fine until i tried to install PlaneShiftV0.2.010 and it said \"installer corrupt or incomplete\". It didnt say anything about the specific downloads. What should I do? D/L the whole lot again?
