Yah, it\'s basically just the cost, and the worry of vandals, getting MOTs, where to put it... -.- etc. Sure it\'s a great for convinience, but I wouldn\'t wanna own one. I\'ve even had 10 one-hour lessons on driving, but as soon as they ended I vowed to never touch a steering wheel again. I just hated the experience so much.

Unfortunately i havent been able to afford one yet. After college, 4 years from now, i think ill buy one, if i manage to save some of my loan.
Either a old Volvo 164 cheap, and put money on restoring it. Or a rather new car, one with some HP\'s... Heh, maybe an Volvo S 60, since im such a Volvo-person...

But whenever i get the chance i use my mom and dad\'s Volvo 850 GLT.

Well I\'ll be 16 in may and my parants want me to work so I learn to be \"responsable\" but I\'m going to need a car to work.  So, my parants will pay the down payment on any car of my choice but it will be my responsability to pay it off. My choice is a 1997 toyota supra. Its fast, really good looking, and great to fix up. But I guess you guys aren\'t into the whole import car thing.

Well I can\'t start to drive untill I\'m 17, whicn is in a few months :D My parents will supply the Car, I\'ll have to cough up the insurance somehow. :)

As for a future car... well, something extremely expensive it\'ll probably end up being :D

From my experience (and from my parents) toyotas are really good cars. So this should be a good choice. You can probably drive it till its 12-14 years old without repairing bigger parts.

We also had a Nissan - from my point of view its not as good as a toyota but still top quality (we bought a used nissan and drove it 10 years till it was 12 years old - then we sold it and bought the Toyota Yaris).

\'91 Honda Accord, 165,000 miles and nothing wrong with it. Honda\'s last forever.

I used to have a 50cc turbo-charged moped, but I totaled it.  :)) Almost killed myself in the process.

1992 Pathfinder

I\'m too tall for most cars.

Hah.

Though I don\'t care much about the vehicle...my stereo system in there kicks ass, I spent so much damn money on that which should have gone to buying/fixing up the car itself. :D

I can see why people don\'t want cars, but I constantly drive back and forth from home/work, no way would I survive without being able to drive...though I make my friends drive on any trips. ;)

1992 Dodge Neon SXT.

A few months ago I bought my wife a 2004 Ford Focus.  Not my type of car, but she thinks it\'s \"cute\", so... 2 cars, technically.  I drive the Dodge almost exclusively.

Any suggestions on a new car?  I will probably be buying a new one  in the near future so what would people recommend?
