Ever seen a baseball player? Reference
What you\'re saying means holding your left hand on the outter right, whilst right hand close to your body just before you make a swing. That\'s absurd. That\'s one. Giving strength to your blow with your weaker hand is another absurd.

If you are right-handed, you would have your left hand on the bottom of the handle of the axe, and your right hand nearest the blade. For a two handed axe I mean

Ok, here are the clothes... sorry for the crappy shot, it was from my digital camera :P

Click it for full screen

I suck at drawing, and even more at coloring, so just try and note it for what I meant it to be... BTW the dark green on the shoulders and chest is a separate layer from the light green of the shirt, and the dark green on the bottoms of the sleeves is part of the shirt. Feel free to enhance it if you wish.

Very nice.

A tiny technical point.  The center planes of the lower jaw and the skull are rotated from each other by about twenty degrees.

Place a sheet of blank paper over the lower jaw, and look at the orientation of the center plane that divides left and right.

Then cover the head from the upper teeth upwards.

Alternate between those two, and you will see what I mean.

The back of his tongue is off center.

Clothing, Lordbug?

What needs to be covered?

No one who really had fur, would ever consider wearing anything that was not functional or decorative.

I might wear a harness to hold weapons.  I might wear armor, an armband, a bracelet, a necklace or torc.

But clothing?

Clothing simply rubs my fur the wrong way.

If you were not teasing, shame on you.

This is art.  The body is marvellously done, and beautiful.  To cover it up, and not let it be seen, is just wrong.

And... Um.  More please.

Is there a link to more?

If you would be so kind, I would like to see more of that tail.  :)

You\'re obviously forgetting the cultural influence. If culture sees walking around naked as wrong, then obviously even one with fur would cover himself up.
And Drak wears animal skins as trophies anyway.

Many thanks :) I should pay attention more, definitely. And I usually do when it comes to \"finished\" art - this is but a sketch ;)

Various other pieces by me are posted in this thread, but if anyone\'s truly interested, there is always karyuu.com.

*edit* \"Finished sketch\" is here, and a better image of the one before it is somewhere nearby.

While he doesn\'t exactly look blonde or norse or bearded, he does qualify for a similar comment as that on Demarthl about the more complete version. And the subsequent ones. :)

IOW:

Lovely work on your website, dear.

Your bodies, clothing, accessories and weapons are especially nice.

I repeat, I want to see more of that tail...

To properly render the anatomy where the tail joins the body, will be a challenge, I think.

This is probably artistic baby-talk for you, but it might not be for others:
Remember the tail is a part of the spine.  It always helps to visualize the bones under the flesh, for orientation, and then the muscles over that, for shape.

Draklar and the rest of the neo-victorian erotophobes can cover it later, if they want to.

But you really need to understand what it looks like, before you can put clothes on it.

Verrliit

[Edit:  I have gotten a PM from Draklar, who delighted me by saying he was offended, when I lumped him with the erotophobes.  Doing the rest of the tail, sans pants, therefore meets with his approval.]

*was kidding -_-
:P

Anyway, I think an enkidukai always feels better with no clothes as they are pretty annoying if you are trying to run and leap in the forest and stuff... Draklar doesn\'t seem to be in the city in that moment... unless he\'s trying to frighten someone that trespassed his house while he was sleeping or taking a \"bath\" :P
Of course... Lordbug prefeers clothes as he can\'t do anything Felinish.

*goes to look for te meaning of blasphemy
Ah... now I finally know what that means...
