For those who have played EQ:
« on: October 14, 2004, 11:00:37 pm »
If you haven\'t figured it out by now I love random flash movies (hence my affinity for homestarrunner.com and albinoblacksheep.com).  However, today I bring you probably my favorite flash video of all time, but you\'d only find it funny if you have played EverQuest (AKA Ever Crack).  CCH: Agent Sinzan

*watches the video for the 1000th time
*falls over laughing

Efflixi Aduro, that was pretty funny, but apparently you haven\'t played EQ, otherwise you would be agreeing with me. :P

Boldstorm, that was massively disturbing.  I watched 3 videos there and couldn\'t stand to watch anymore.  *shudders
/me would rather watch videos on homestarruner.com any day including Tuesday!

Well...I don\'t know.  I\'m being completely honest, though, when I say that I don\'t see how those were funny.  No offense.  That salad fingers guy was just...uuuugh.

And with the EQ stuff, basically most high level raids have a main tank.  The idea is the big enemy boss guy attacks the main tank, and a bunch of clerics heal the main tank with a spell called complete healing.  They need to chain cast this spell (once every few seconds) because otherwise the main tank will die in about 4 hits.  Hence the \"CCH\" (Chain Complete Healing).  However, this video takes CCH as Chain Celestial Healing, which is like a level 9 cleric spell that heals virtually nothing.  Hence the \"...need more cleric.\"  Anyway, I think it\'s hilarious.

Understood very well what CCH was.
Played EQ as a tank for quite awhile :D
I guess my sense of humor must just be twisted as far as those videos go.  ;)

Really? What class and lvl?  I\'ll admit I never got into the high level game, but I had several friends (rl and in game) that did.  Highest I ever got was a 45 warrior.  Then I got bored of the combat so I switched to casters and had 2 lvl 30ish wizards before I quit (switched servers).  Based on the screenshots of CB I think I will probably be a caster again.  I\'m a bit concerned about the combat as I saw a button that says \"attack.\"  I\'m not really a big fan of the autoattack stuff.
