creating guilds - specifically websites and logos.

can anyone help me, im trying to make a guild but i dont have a clue where to load my site onto, can anyone recommend a good free website server?

Also can you tell me how to create those cool little icons and logos for your guild, i espescially the type of one the mercenaries have.

Any help would be happy.

Might want to check out ifreepages.com, had some issues with server dropage every once in a while but I think that had to do with the hurricanes and the upgrading they were doing afterwords. But for free you really get alot of options.

I think they also have templates so if you really have no idea what you are doing it is a good place to start.
I really think your best bet is to learn HTML and hand code everything in a text editor though


As far as logos and buttons and stuff, imagination, inspiration and photoshop.

Make sure you check around if there are any guilds you are interested in joining before running off and making your own.

http://tavern.blueglyph.net/modules.php?name=Guilds (Kada\'s Guild list) is always a good places to start.

Apart from the complexity and novelty of it, frankly i dont like the others, except for their graphics, no offence.

I can\'t see why you shouldn\'t make a guild if you feel like it. Give it a shot and the worst thing that can happen is that you fail. Just try to make it as original as possible, for everybody\'s sake...

I don\'t think he\'d have trouble with originality, at least not in PS...
I can think of many ideas (ideas that will stay mine in case I ever need to implement them) that have not been done.

 If you want to create a guild, create it, don\'t care if the others tells you not to. It\'s your choice after all. But if you\'ll do it, you should think that it takes a lot of time to create a decent background for it, and also taking care of it. Well, I hope you\'ll find some original ideas (most of them were taken, and Adeli, trust me I know that for sure ...). Good Luck!

Wow all you people are telling her / him all the terrible, low space sites that give you loads of pop ups and banners, I know where to get free webspace for 400mb\'s compared to the 20mb\'s you get with angelfire and geocities and the like...

Of course I won\'t tell you the provider as that would be un business like of me o.0...

Note: Just search for Free Websites, you should find a search website specifically for Free web sites, it shows most of them on there with some really great ones, look around till you find a really good provider...

Seems to me I told him of a place that gives you 100mb, a MySql database with phpMyadmin, email accounts and no pop-ups.
Also how does telling or not telling someone about a supposed free site become \"un business like\". If the site is truely free what\'s the big deal.
