Hello and..

The current testing phase for the next release is full right now. However Crystal Blue, the name of the current release being tested, should be released in the near future for everyone to play. Hope you enjoy your time in PS. :D

Indeed!  Welcome!

Like Boldstorm said, the testing team is full, but I\'m sure that when CB comes out there will be maybe a couple bugs you can find (though I\'m hoping not :D).  For now you can just hang out around here or on the PS irc channel (irc.freenode.net  #planeshift) and get to know the community.  I think you\'ll find it to your liking.

What a friendly and helpful new guy.
Welcome to Planeshift.
I hope to see you in Yliakum sometime.
Just so you know, this game is not complete, and technically never will be, being constantly upgraded.
We\'re generally a pretty sociable bunch, and help whenever we can.
Any questions... go to http://saber.co.nz/guide/ or to the FAQ in the Newbie Forums. If you can\'t find your answer at either of those, post a thread in the Newbie Forums.
Planeshift is very limited right now, but CB is on the way, currently being tested, and should be here soon.

I\'m just curious. Did you ever, during the time that you spent in all those games, report just a single bug?

Anyway, have fun waiting. There isn\'t a whole lot else to do at this point. :)

the devs for asherons call had all ready taken care of  most of the major bugs, when they released it for the first phase of beta test..

The staff was allready in place, the tech department had toons that could teleport in game at will to help such and such..

The best thing about an early beta test for ac was the strong bonds we made with each other and the staff as the game was going into its intial final stages.. Played that game for three years straight.

East wood, Earth and Beyond was more of a private domain.  They started with a world or universe, then expanded with a forum like this one..  The graphic \'s engine was constantly under going changes as we would do various tests.  One test involved pvp, another involved, over loading the server.  Another involved mining or gathering raws..  They even burned the cds for the first 500 players.  I belived (havent checked in awhile they went under).

Socoilotron is still under development but geared toward adults only.  Its going to be hosted soon on a seperate datebase.  The programmer for that world uses all his toons from poser and 3 d studio...

But to answer the first question, all games have bugs, what is needed is to find trustworthy players who won\'t exploit those bugs and report them like he or she should.

From reading these threads, you have a strong community allready starting or have started.  Its refreshing to see...

I will do my best to help where I can, Ill start with getting to learn the world, then post when I can to help answer or give postive feedback...

Being a moderator from three other betas, I will do my best to not ask a question that I can search the answer for myself.. lol been down that road too many times, answering that upteenth question....hehe

cyg, I think the question is, have YOU ever reported a bug?  We know that all games have bugs, but I think Gronomist was asking if you ever reported any bugs in all the games you\'ve tested.

to answer the question about reporting bugs, yes..
some on ac, more testing on ea alot on soio and just had fun on luna city. Getting stuck, cant pick this up, the monster balance is not done right, we need to fix the type here in this quote,  The color overlay  does not match this armor when wore with such and such or it disappears when wore.  When I portal into this worm hole..  etc..  :)
no intention for a bump..

/adujusts his helmet, fastens down his saftey harness over his bulky, tentacles..reaches down for the ingnition button...says a prayer and pushes the button....
