looks pretty good, im sure Arcane will be here soon to critisize you on the poly\'s... but i thinks its alright

it would not be that hard to texture, if all you wanted was maybe a stone texture... search google for stone texture. then jus slap it on, i dont think you will need any mapping. if you do, im not your man :P

EDIT:: oh, and if you got some help, maybe you could include a falling water animation, then it would go ingame!

It is my impression that the dishes are too thin to be made of anything that isn\'t glass or metal.
Also, the first thought I had was \"satellite dish\", and the second one \"orbital laser cannon\", but yeah, it might also be a fountain. :)

Looks more like a snack dish that my grandma use to have in her living room with tarts and stuff :P just change it from fountain to snack dish and put a handle on top

Am I really that predictable?  Yeah, it has way too many polys.  It looks like it has 15-20 sides right now, when it should be 8, or 10 at the max (8 would be better).  I also think the trays should be a bit thicker.  And concerning the texture, I would highly recommend doing a uv and making a quality skin.  Slapping a texture on there will work, but it will look much better if you make a skin for it, putting some details, features, and shading into it.  It will look much more real and convincing.  You can\'t do uv mapping?  Now is the time to learn.  It\'s somewhat near the release of CB and there isn\'t really much else to do besides sharpen your skills.  Grab some tutorials and practice up!

try pm\'ing cherppow about the texture if you can not find a satisfactory one on google, and I can map it for you, if you want to try it yourself, here is a link to a tutorial by cherppow http://www.hut.fi/~vrantapu/PlaneShift/BlenderHelp/VR_Blender_help.html
Also, gameblender is the same program as blender, but when aking games, you usually use python and logic. (the purple smiley face button) Hope this helps.
