maybe you know the problem ... game designers spend hours and hours thinking of great concepts and even more hours implementing and testing them.

... just to see what hundreds of evil players make out of it when the game goes live. the following quotes are from a possible future of planeshift...

Deathmule: \"WTS: Evil Greatsword of the Uberness (dr boss item), various dr drops, pm me!\"

NoobXYZ: \"LF dr group to farm gold & items!\"

Laggy: \"HEY STOP DYING U N00BS TOO MUCH LAG IN DR!!!!!11\"

Hopefully the GM\'s will warn those players to at least stop talking in such a horrid way.

The DR isn\'t open PVP... it\'s exactly like the living world, except it\'ll be all dead and stuff.

If conduct like that will be seen in PS, it won\'t just be the DR it would be everywhere.

I think the DR as a realm is good, very Greek.

Anyways, I didnt understand half of what they said. And, if ps ever becomes like that I will change my guilds goal to hunt down and destroy people like that.

Im in a good guild.... but i have to agree with you on that. I cant stand people that talk like that. IF i see any people with those names( except Azasello) ill be contacting the mercenary guild right away.

If that ever happens, I will ensure my help. Nothing is worse than a MMORPG with a horde of Idiots running around. I won\'t stay beside when Idiots ruin what will be a genius RPG.

And how Greek will it be? Will there be Cerberus et Co. Kg.? Would be fun to hear that madmen crying because they\'re facing a three-headed Super-big Dog. Would take their wind out of their sails

Yeah, that would be so cool. You\'d have to hook up with some other players and kill cerberus. Then you\'ll have to search death realm for npc\'s and if you kill a npc you get money. Once you get enough money you can pay Charon the ferry man to sail you across the river Styx so you get back in the Living world.

And the more stronger players should not only do that but they\'d have to get out of the most dangerous place in death realm: Tartarus. The place where the Titans, parents of all gods are imprisoned.

Yeaahhh, and if you Die you have to start all over again *Nasty Nasty*. Would keep those guys from getting themselves killed. ROFL . Cerberus would be very funny. But the Part of killing NPC seems very weird, having to do quests would be better. But the Idea with Charon sounds so well.

Those types will be in the game whether you like it or not. It is relatively impossible to launch a free mmorpg without lamers n00bs and griefers in each and every corner of the world, and keeping them all out will be absolutely impossible.. I\'ve seen them in every mmorpg I\'ve ever played before, I\'m sure I\'ll be seing them again.. As distraught as this might make me, I\'ve somewhat excepted the fact.

Fret not, I\'ll do my share to keep them out, but it\'ll do little good in the long run.

I\'m very familiar with Greek mythology.  It just surprises me that it is in the game.  Now is it just some of the concepts or the full-blown ideas?  I get the feeling it is some concepts implemented in a more Planeshift-like manner.
