Only 1 tria left....
« on: November 14, 2004, 10:13:17 am »
This is an idea,

If people dont know what to do with there last few tria and there on the brink of poverty they need lots of cash...and fast.

so why not have a casino?! 8)

Have some fun in gambleing and maybe hit the JACKPOT :))

I know that CB is just about done so maybe in an upcoming patch.

I think it\'s been discussed before.  The devs may resort to implementing it in 5 years when the economy inflates.  As for now, I doubt there is much hope.

:emerald:

Edit: Shouldn\'t this be in the wish(ful thinking) forums?

Well when I first started there was a guy by the name of

\"Deddarus\" who had the same dream and went through with making a guild for it though I cannot remeber what it was even though I was in it for awhile :P

Yeah, too bad it fell apart. It really was a good idea, the problem was getting people to dedicate themselves to a guild that entertains people.

\"Welcome to The Lucky Kran! Where you could be the next rich warrior.  Do you want to spend your life in a secluded paradise? Of course you do!\" :D
Hmm the odds should be tweaked a little though. A 1/10000000 chance does appeal to me that much. :P

If I understand correctly, anyone could start a raffle in the game just by asking people to /give them money.  At the end of the drawing the player would /give the winner the prize, be it money or the uber ax. The ?bookies? would have to build up their trust and renown if they were to succeed.

The main question about this I think is how will this fit ingame without ruining the atmosphere? Any ideas

Of course. Gambling is ancient. As long as we dont start playing 5-card stud. I would like to see some original gambling games in Planeshift. Or your could settle for a clissic game of dice.
