Ok, now comes the 1 million $ question. Do you have a legal copy of Windows? Or a \"cracked\" one? lol

err, yea that works :P
Well, if you have a cracked version, it\'s not hard for the ones who \"played\" with the program, to insert everything they want in every place they want ;)
 Don\'t ask details :P

Anyone remember DoubleSpace? This was an online harddisk compressor (DOS 6.0). It turned out that Microtheft was using the algorithm that the program \"Stacker\" used. M$ was sued and lost. So M$ changed the algorithm and brought us DriveSpace (DOS 6.2). Needless to say, DriveSpace had the serious flaws you\'d expect from M$ products that DoubleSpace was lacking mysteriously... :)

So yes, it would fit their profile. However, in this case it might just be the case that the developer who created these files was using the pirated program, so it isn\'t necessarily M$\'s fault this time.

On a somewhat related note, I wonder how many of Microthefts servers run Linux... :P

I have a legit copy of XP, and that file still contains that, so it wasn\'t added by crackers.

Umm, my advice, don\'t talk online about your illegal XP... not too brilliant.

I like Red Jelly Beans!

No, that I didn\'t know. However, I was wondering whether they would be stupid enough to use their own buggy and insecure software for internal development. Of course, they are forced to use it for public things (imagine http://www.microsoft.com running on Apache!), but for the really important things I\'d certainly use something more adequate than windoze.

Edit: Well, except they fell for their own propaganda and actually believe that windows is a good OS. :P
