Ahhhh! An Orc! (skin)

Well I just made this then in photoshop, I did\'nt bother with the body.
I dunno if you guys would like to use it or not, but I sent in an application for 2D Graphics and I hope to read a responce..

P.s Microsoft Paint can be good for Pixel kind of games like FF1...just thought I might mention that, yes we all know it\'s made by Micro$oft but hey, just download the gimp =)

ok, so my first attempt at the Golem texture
didnt go so well... I got the back mixed up with the front
and the red face did not show up properly...it\'s still
Unfinished but with the end results, I think Im going to have to start over.


Ohh.. btw, for the orc skin you need to click on it to see it\'s full size...incase you didnt notice.

Ohh hahaha silly me, the texture has to be flipped Horizontaly that\'s why :P

Even so, in my opinion I think you could show your skill better by creating a whole new skin using the mask file rather than basing it from the first kran skin.  I mean, all you did is darken it up, and add/change some color.  It looks good, yes, but you didn\'t do the base skin, or any of the details (not to say that I can do much better :P ).

The Golems seems good  (advantageable but good). But I don\'t think an orc fits in PS.

P.S.: Maybe use the Edit Button to Edit your Posts instead of making new ones

I really like your first Kran skin. I think the devs should take all these skins people made and add them in-game (the good ones, of course). Think of the character costomization.

ArcaneFalcon, thanks your right. I really didnt see the mask file, I would have made my own skin if I knew it was there but yeah.. like I said I didnt see it so I didnt know where everything was supposed to go,

p.s Does anyone know any good websites for photoshop textures like the rock texture that is on kran, it looks really good, I was wondering where I could find it. Thanks

I think most people make their own textures.  Just build up layers in photoshop.  Once you have a bunch, experiment around with layer orders and blending modes.  If you need some photo references, though, you can use http://www.imageafter.com

nice texture, wrong golem. I can adapt it with the gimp and uv mapping though.

Hehe, actually I did that kran texture.
The rock texture is mainly painting with photoshop brush and an overlay photo.

You\'ll need to train more before joining PS team, but that\'s a good start! Skinner are rare...
