The History of the Knights Templar Guild

900 years ago. In a land apart from our new home,Yliakum.  The Knights Templar had been called upon by their country\'s king to assist  in a campaign where the king had sumoned his army, and his country\'s guilds to fight for him.

So the Knights Templar, honor at stake, had accepted his muster, and so they had been shipped off to capture an enemy stronghold. After one month at sea, they arrived at an encampment where they had been stationed.

That night, the Seneschals and Grand Master had been taken to help help coordinate the capture of the stronghold.

A plan was reached after an hour of wondering whether to escalade or siege. They were going to escalade which was a risky manoeuvre. The Knights Templar would attempt the escalade first, and try to break the enemy on the battlements.

The sun rose the next morning and the Knights Templar had assembled with a handful of ladders, and they departed to either success, or failure.

The king\'s army approached the walls, and came in bow range at which point they begun the two sides begun to exchange arrows. A break in the ranks made way for the ladders, as the Knights Templar ran to the walls.
Eight ladders went up successfully, losing two othe ladders in the run to the wall.

Now for the dangerous part; the escalade itself. The Knights Templar stormed up the ladders with bestial ferocity and motivation. The first Knights Templar got up, killing two enemies on the battlements. That opened the door of opportunity as the entire Knights Templar stormed onto the battlements.

It didn\'t take long to clear the battlements of the enemy, but the city inside housed the entire enemy army. So jumping down, the Knights Templar opened the gate and let a flood of men inside, and withing 4 hours the city was void of the enemy; and so lived a doomed garrison.

The citizen\'s were terrified of the foreign army. Many people were being cheated out of their money and chaos was evident. This would go on for three days, until the enemy army arrived to deal with these foreigners.

On the second day, precautions were made to ensure safety. Watch towers went up and a mysterious portal was found, should the need to evacuate to town, arise. The portal had been sealed to prevent ddefeatists from escaping, however the spell backfired. It went through the portal, sealing portals everywhere. Everyone was also notified of their stations. King\'s Archers: Watch towers ans Walls. King\'s Foot Guard: the streets near the gate. Knights Templar: the central plaza, and portal.

A days march away, the enemy leader was plotting, with his commanders in their foreign tongue. The plan was, 100,000 men to surround the stronghold, 50,000 to use magic and tools to burrow under the walls, and another 50,000 of their finest, to storm the city.

The sun rose the next day, when the enemy marched towards the walls, and the outnumbered men stood as though they were statues, paralyzed with fear.

Three hours later, the enemy neared the finishing of their burrow. They had finally broken through, and the enemy flooded the outer streets, easily pushing the outnumbered defenders back.

They neared the inner streets, where the Knights Templar were. Seeing an absolute flood of enemy, and no sign of other defenders, the Knights Templar chose to take their chances with the portal. They opened it, hurried through it, and once on the other side, sealed it for good.

They were welcomed by a group of people worshipping gods of steel.

The Knights Templar taught them many things, and the  townsfolk were eager to learn. But the Knights Templar learned some things too. Like the name of the land they were in, Yliakum.

Yliakum, the final resting place of the Knights Templar.

Well, as I said a million times, for me and I think for others as well this guild = Hatchnet. He\'s an elite, so I am wondering why he has such a low rank  ?(
I can  guarantee you that he\'s more capable than all your members Myrtl.
Also, yes ... why not updating the old thread?
And you were hit by a truck from mistake yesterday? Joining CoL? You have to be joking. They need help to revive yes, but you\'re not what they\'re seeking you know. Why putting back what you have now?
Don\'t know, maybe I didn\'t understand well, maybe they are joining you, but from this that\'s what I understood:

That doesn\'t matter. *motions towards Myrtl* Some one get this lad a promotion!

KT and CoL joining up? That\'s odd.
Disclaimer: This is my opinion and I can be reasoned with. I'm probably right, though.
