I did like the \"alien eye\", though. Also, I think that the shading on the arms is too dark. Or is this going to change as with the throat?

Everything will be more defined so there is a better line between different body parts. What I did was just a base layer of shading so the whole thing is going to go through changes.

About the alien eye, I liked it too, but I am trying to make it acurate to the drawing. Maybe i\'ll do another more \'free\' version some other time.

Well, here is an update. I had a 10 page essay due and a bunch of art pieces for school (propaganda poster, web site, and business cards), so I havent had much time to work on this until recently. Here is a small update. Its mostly more detail to the \'mohawk\' crest and some around the shoulder. I also realized that I forgot to put in the gold bracer on the arm, so a rough outline is included as well. You may also notice I started cleaning up the outer edge of the wing. It is more defined and less fuzzy now around the edges:

Coming together great, Dameon. :) I would suggest putting some sort of shadow along the base of the crest if you want to make it look like it\'s running along the center of the skull, although I\'m not sure what you\'re aiming for there. It\'s nice to see the lines starting to sharpen up too. :)

no, but that is what it is based on. I started making one from that outline, but I lost the one I started making (see earlier in the thread).

Ouch. I thought you\'d just lost the original image, not the work-in-progress.

Why can\'t you take your work from page one and just continue from there?

The image online is a flattened image. The one I used was made of multiple layerrs, each with a layer mask of the outline. In reality, it would be a lot more work just to use the ones I already uploaded.
