Well since this thread is recent, I guess I\'ll give away my Gmail invites too. Been meaning to give \'em out. So whoever posts behind the other 4, there\'s at least one more waiting for ya.

I\'m back.... Perhaps in black.

Beta of googles mail service, lets you send files that are very large and also lets you keep up to a gig of space inside. Pretty slick too, other than the fact its not opera compatable :(

Im still not too sure about g-mail. a gig is nice and all, but i can see that getting spamed up in no time. and for some reason, my hotmail account got uped from 2 megs to 250 megs, so im happy with that for now. (no, i didnt pay for it. its a mystery.)

Edit: Oops, maybe I should read those emails from the hotmail staff. I guess everyone now gets 250 megs of free space and 10 meg file limits. not a bad counter to g-mail, if you ask me

hardly, only 1/4th of gmail, and hotmail only lets you send a couple of file types. Hard as heck to share stuff unless you use yousendit.com and they are going slow because of leechers and stuff atm.

I\'m back.... Perhaps in black.

Well, the 250mb is just as good IMO, as i dont expect ill ever fill that up, let alone 1 gig. but what types of files does hotmail let you send, cause if i can send zips, ill be fine.

G-Mail invites were(not sure if now) are actually worth quite a bit. People were selling invites for 40$ and people bought them! See if you can sell some on Ebay  :D

They don\'t sell anymore since pretty much everyone gets invites now a days. It got to the point where I couldn\'t even give away my invites anymore.

Gmail is storming the Internet with a whooping 1 gig
of space, this is making other e-mail hosting companies go out of Business such as hotmail and yahoo, and it has been reported
that in some cases Hotmail and Yahoo have blocked incoming.
Gmail Invites. Yahoo now is Increasing it\'s amount of room to 1 gig so they can stay in the competition. However google have
come up with the Idea of the GMail Drive shell extension, This
adds a Virtual drive to my computer and when you open it you can insert your username/password then upload files
Onto your personal e-mail account. Pretty nifty if you ask me.
However something that I am curious about is the fact that
G-mail don\'t want anyone to delete any mail they receive but
simply to move it to another folder, It has been claimed that
gmail have been working with the F.B.I searching for any
words such as Mp3, Terrorism etc.. and now that people
can upload files and not delete things from there server means
that  there is a higher risk of people getting caught.

Ok, well I sent you your g-mail invite, Anyone else :)

Umm don\'t think Yahoo and Hotmail are going out of business. Matter of fact I don\'t know anyone who has cancelled their hotmail or yahoo accounts just cause they got a gmail account.
As far as the shell extension there are a few ones out there that various parties have made so make sure if you get one you get one that you understand and that has the features you want.
