I cant load it!

Ok i click the pssetup i think its .exe file im not sure but i clik it and it brings up a settings type screen. I after doing the settings i click save and nothing happens? Where do i go from here?

may i ask what subfolder im going to under programfiles/planeshift(short abrievation) i have a few subfolders they are art data docs guide rules support
Which one is it under ive looke at everyting under all of them... I\'m sorta lost.

woah, i just tried something different and i didnt think of it i opened the psclient and it showed me three rubies and a blank screen i click on the rubies and it exits out. Where do i go from there?

The one that says Create  Quit  Connect .

Well if you don\'t have a character you would click create, if you do have one you would click connect or if you wanted to quit you would click Quit.

Well I\'m glad that you\'ve showed that screen cause now I\'m sure something is wrong with my game. (well okay, me not being able to see anything was a good hint :P ).

Here\'s my problem, if you don\'t mind me tagging along with a similar problem :P :

I installed the game (that worked, or so I think) but I can\'t create a character. :( I do get to that screen but I can\'t see anything. It?s just a white screen with some buttons, that\'s all I can see. No text no nothing. I\'m quite sure this isn\'t supposed to happen, so does anyone know what is wrong or how I can fix it? I appreciate any help. :)

Oh yeah, I don\'t have a \'PlaneShift ? OpenGl mode\' link or something like it said in the step by step guide. I just opened it with the \'psclient.exe. file\'. I don\'t know if that has anything to do with it though.

Can anyone help me? :(

Completely forgot to mention it.  :rolleyes:  I not only don\'t see any text in the creation screen, but also not on the screen you just showed us. Just those three rubies and a white screen, nothing like what was in your post. I first pressed on the right one (that didn\'t help much) then the middle one (mistake) and then the left one (the only left so I figured that would be the right one :P ).

You can set render mode in pssetup.exe if you just use psclient.exe to load the game. Otherwise, the OpenGL render mode is available through the Start button shortcut.

For the white screen problem, it may be due to old hardware or drivers. Make sure everything is up to date and you have a system capable of running fairly new games.
